HABITAT FOR HUMANITY
Habitat for Humanity International was founded in 1976 by Millard and Linda Fuller. Habitat for Humanity provides low income families with the opportunity to purchase decent affordable housing, as well as giving volunteers the opportunity to restore lives in their community. Today, Habitat has helped build or repair more than 800,000 houses and served more than 4 million people around the world.
APOSTLES BUILD
We are partnering with the Apostles’ Build project on Harrison Street.
THE FAMILY
This house will provide a wheelchair accessible single level home for a family with a child diagnosed with cystic fibrosis. Cystic fibrosis is a life-threatening genetic disease that primarily affects the lungs and digestive system. An estimated 30,000 children and adults in the United States (70,000 worldwide) have Cystic fibrosis.
